Al Ain is a city in is the largest inland city in the Emirates, the fourth-largest city (after Dubai, Abu Dhabi, and Sharjah), and the second-largest in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi. The freeways connecting Al-Ain, Abu Dhabi, and Dubai form a geographic triangle in the country and is located approximately 160 kilometers (99 mi) east of the capital Abu Dhabi, and about 120 kilometers (75 mi) south of Dubai.
Al Ain International Airport is situated around 15 km outside of Al Ain and offers only a small range of flights Cairo, Calicut or Peshawar out of Al Ain. Al Ain International Airport plays a vital role as the location for the UAE’s first aerospace cluster, Nibras Al Ain Aerospace Park. The aerospace park, jointly developed by Mubadala Aerospace and Abu Dhabi Airports, is currently home to several aerospace manufacturing and service providers, and is opening its doors to other international organizations.
Emirate leaders envision Al Ain as the future world-premier aerospace center located in the heart of the Middle East. Hundreds of acres of desert will be converted into bustling aerospace manufacturing facilities. Just recently, Mubudala, the government’s investment group, completed construction of a state-of-the-art composites facility, Strata, which is already supplying parts for Airbus and other aircraft manufacturers.
Khalifa Bin Zayed grand Mosque also known as "Al Ain Grand Mosque" or "Sheikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Grand Mosque", or simply Sheikh Khalifa Mosque is the largest mosque in the city of Al Ain in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi, and one of the largest mosques in the United Arab Emirates, open to the public since 12 April 2021.

STRATA Manufacturing, (STRATA) is a composite aero structures manufacturing facility based in the heart of Nibras Al Ain Aerospace, Al Ain, United Arab Emirates. The company was established in 2009, with production beginning in 2010. Strata has partnerships with the world’s leading aircraft manufacturers such as Airbus, Boeing and Leonardo-Finmeccanica Aerostructures Division as well as a Tier one supplier to Pilatus, SAAB and SABCA.
